This is a small example of some types of repairs that seem impossible to my costumers, but for me it's a piece of cake!!!!

This is a Yamaha that was "dumped" and deamed a total from a insurance company.

A replacement upper frame assembly is $750 plus 13 Hrs. labor to disassemble the bike, install the new frame assembly, then reassembling the bike. Their labor rate is $55 per hr.

The solution was to fabricate 2 new threaded aluminum bosses to be welded to the frame.

These parts were fabricated from 6063 aluminum for superb weld-ability, not like the brittle casting from the factory.

The engine case was also damaged.

At the bottom of the timing cover on the engine block there was a crack causing a severe oil leak. The price for the new engine block was $625, plus another 12 Hrs. labor for removing the motor, disassembling it, reassembling it, and reinstalling it.

This was also easily repaired at my facility.

The Bottom Line...

Everything would have taken over 1 week to have done at any cycle shop and would have cost the owner $2750 to fix everything. The final cost for the customer was $425 and he took it home that very same day.
